AETN partnered with the Mid-America Science Museum for an AETN & PBS KIDS Day Saturday, October 1, 2016.
On Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016, AETN hosted Family Day 2016 – a free public event to encourage community spirit through family-friendly fun and entertainment, educational activities and community service drives. AETN celebrated 50 years of public media in Arkansas and marked the occasion with the theme 'Peace, Love & AETN,' traveling back in time to the 1960s when AETN first went on the air.
Pedro E. Guerrero Workshop
On Saturday, Oct 3, 2015, AETN outreach staffers, architectural photographers, North Little Rock Middle School ESL educators and students convened at the newly refurbished North Little Rock History Commission for an all-day workshop funded by a grant from WNET, New York City's Public Television affiliate. The focus of this initiative was based on the PBS documentary American Masters-"Pedro Guerrero: A Photographer's Journey."
