I love the wonderful programming. I enjoy the news on AETN - I consider it pretty well balanced and non-political. I also like Nova, and the Ken Burns’ specials, and the other specials that are on. What’s not to like? I don’t watch during the day, I’m a little too old for that. But the nighttime programming is wonderful. -John Lambert
All I wanted to do was to thank you. Create TV is back on; I just happened to flip through. It's back on and I know you guys have been working hard and I just wanted to thank you for all the trouble you've been going through for us. Thank you very much.
I appreciate that PBS isn’t wedded to trends, and I think that it’s playing the long game. PBS stays the course in a lot of ways with what intellectual curiosity truly represents for us all, and what that drive to be curious and to seek more really means& My kids grew up and watched Sesame Street and the PBS kids shows, and this gets them to be not just passive viewers but active viewers, active readers, and it obviously engages their curiosity and their intellect, as well. -Matthew Pitt
Thank you so much! The contest really encouraged Chloe to read and to write. She loved her prize package and is so proud! We love AETN! Not because of the writer's contest - just an added bonus. It is the one channel that I trust for my children's TV time. I tell other parents often that I just don't think you can go wrong with AETN programs. Thank you again.
Glad to see I can watch back shows of Exploring Arkansas on the website.
I love AETN and grew up watching PBS. Shows like Sesame Street and Mister Rogers put in my head certain values that I’ve always had. I think for my generation, it did that for diversity, kindness, tolerance, all those values. I remember watching The Civil War series with my husband when we were dating, and that was kind of how I got to know his parents, too, because they were watching it. I was a fan of Downton Abbey, and right now, Call the Midwife is everything to me - I love that show! I think PBS has a quality of show that you can’t really get anywhere else. I mean, there’s good television all around, but there’s a certain level on PBS that you can’t get anywhere else. -Stephanie Vanderslice
A special thanks to you and the great AETN team for broadcasting "Black Marks on White Paper." For the past 12 hours I have been responding to a steady stream of folks, who discovered the wonderful gift, which Bishop Warner brought to our church and our state. AETN is the leader in telling Arkansas stories and I am so thankful to each of you, who have made this possible. I do not know what projects are ahead, but AETN will be at the top of my list to seek as a partner.
I wanted to take a moment to let you know you make a difference. I needed two hours of parental involvement P.D. to renew my license. In the past I had attended local training, but this time my schedule required another idea. Today was the first time I used the portal and I viewed Dr. Wally Goddard’s. work; Guiding Children Successfully. For the first time I agree every teacher should have two hours of parental involvement training. Thank you for this high quality and useful training. I knew my grandmothers really helped me and how badly I wanted to be that for others, but now I know the recipe to help my grandchildren and those I teach.
Thank you so much for your help. The information was wonderfully specific and helpful.
Thank you SO much! She has loved AETN/PBS shows for years and was thrilled to discover the writing contest. It was such a great motivation for her to use her creative skills and a wonderful exercise in perseverance. She is thrilled and proud to have achieved this honor through AETN/PBS (as are her parents!). Thanks you so much for the opportunity and the great news! - Michelle Wright
I still love BBC News and Charlie Rose - thanks for your efforts.
I am inspired to be more engaged and work together for change. - After "Dream On" screening event addressing poverty
AETN is a fabulous resource, a great thing, and it fits in significant ways, in my view, with the mission of the library, of educating people, lifelong learning. All those things that you guys do at AETN so effectively for the whole state, we’re trying to do here in this little small sector of Central Arkansas. -Nate Coulter
My sweet friends at AETN-You have blessed me for many years. I am so thankful for the program guide! I have supported you 20+ years. I am in a rest home now and pray please let me get it the last years of my life. All our love & prayers.
AETN is one of my favorite channels. I feel so smart after watching Frontline, Nova, Nature. I grew up watching the letter people on Sesame Street. All those good shows, like Where in the World is Carmen SanDiego. I can’t imagine being without it - I want my kids to watch it as well, and grow up on it, too! -Lajean Frisch
Problem is totally resolved - I'm like everybody else now :-) There is no user or password protection now on AR Ideas:-) I SOOO appreciate AR Ideas and the convenience of service it provides to our employees!! Thank you for all of your help and KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
I'm sitting here enjoying the lineup of British crime dramas tonight! I was wondering when the new season of Scott and Bailey would begin AND if you would be getting anymore DCI Banks. I enjoy both of these and I noticed that they reached the end of their stories of last season.
To have access to the finest programming available means a commitment of time and of resources, so that my mind, my viewpoint are always stretched. This makes me a better human being, a better citizen, and a more interesting conversationalist.
I am inspired honesty was presented about our city; now we will learn from each other and work together. After "Dream On" screening event addressing poverty
I recently saw wonderful pictures accompanied by John Lennon's 'Imagine'. It was very inspiring and well done.
I love that AETN is available to everybody. -Annette Herrington
Thanks so much to you and all of those involved in the writer's contest. My son, Nicholas Stone, is thrilled to be part of this. The members of my family are all big fans and viewers of AETN/PBS. (I'm 40 years old, and grew up watching Sesame Street and The Electric Company on AETN!) On Nicholas' behalf, I thank you and the staff for this honor. God bless you, and God bless PBS!
I cannot express how grateful I am to you and your team for all your help. Operating a computer and navigating websites is like being on a scabenger hunt with no clues.
I enjoyed Mr. Barnes and his fellow news hounds discuss the week's happenings in our fair state.
From phone conversation: She suggested that an instructional pamphlet on the Arkansas History training/Totara user guide be provided for those who have to take the training.
I just wanted to say thank you for having these debates, they are so helpful. I also love that I can click and watch them online at my convenience. I really don't know how I would be prepared to vote otherwise. This is a huge help in the major elections.
This documentary will help us share the real story of poverty especially generational poverty. - After "Dream On" screening event addressing poverty
